These shafts can be used in a variety of applications & make installation & removal of steering system components simple & easy. By pulling or pushing on the assembly, the overall length can be shortened or lengthened. This telescopic shaft also meets NHTSA guidelines for collapsibility in passenger cars & adds a measure of safety.
