These tools make it easy & economical to lay out & determine proper pushrod length during a high performance engine rebuild. This is necessary for correct valve train geometry to obtain the desired results from the cam & to ensure damage is not done to the rest of the valve train. They are made from a thin wall 5/16 Inch pushrod that is cut & threaded with over 1 Inch travel & features a 5/16 Inch ball on each end.
