The BedRug Tailgate Mat can to be used independently or in conjunction with any style of the BedRug Mat. It features a 1/4 Inch thick foam backing to provide a cushion for your knees when accessing your truck bed, using only hook & loop fasteners for an easy, no damage install. Much like the BedRug, the BedRug Tailgate Mat will give you the look & feel of carpet in an ultra-tough 100 Percent polypropylene (essentially plastic) product. It will protect your tailgate while standing up to whatever you can throw at it: from mulch to bleach. The BedRug Tailgate Mat material is fade & UV resistant. Made of foam similar to that used in life jackets, it doesn’t absorb water & will not mold or mildew. Just clean it with a hose, power washer or vacuum & your BedRug Tailgate Mat is good as new.
