Get help sooner with the contact helper, as the vehicle is loaded the Hellwig contact helper spring connects with the factory contact pads sooner providing better support and less sag for heavy loads. When in contact, the extra Hellwig leaves stiffen the overload springs decreasing the sag of the vehicle in a loaded condition. Hellwig contact overload assist springs mount directly to the factory contact springs for easy install and better load support to increase the truck’s level-load carrying capacity. In normal use, they leave performance unchanged.
