ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2020 to 2023 Ford Ranger suspension systems are designed to dramatically increase the on and off-road ride quality. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. With wheel travel and ride quality in mind, ICON engineers researched each component of the new Ranger platform’s suspension and addressed any areas where performance could be extracted. The Stage 4 (Billet) system features vehicle-specific tuned, extended travel 2.5 Series coilover shocks featuring remote reservoirs for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 0-3-1/2 Inch allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The provided ICON billet aluminum upper control arm kit is designed to improve the overall suspension performance with corrected front-end geometry, increased on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment, and improved suspension component clearance. Additionally, replacing the OE ball joint with the ICON Delta Joint allows for full bump and extended droop travel of the front suspension while eliminating bind. ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback reservoir rear shocks utilize a vehicle-specific valving that balances the performance of the truck from front to rear while the provided foam bump stop kit increases rear end compliance..
