About Product:
ICON’s 3.0 Series Rear Shocks with CDEV for vehicle are designed to take the off-road capability of the truck to new levels by increasing wheel travel by up to 20 Percent and significantly improving the damping ability of the rear shocks, while being compatible with rear lift heights up to 1.5 Inch over stock on vehicle or up to 3 Inch of rear lift on vehicle. 3.0 Series shocks boast 50 Percent more piston surface area compared to 2.5 Series shocks. This translates into increased stability and vehicle control at the extremes of off-road use, with benefits also making themselves apparent in on-road driving conditions. Increased internal oil volume and more external surface area compared to 2.5 Series Shocks offer improved heat dissipation and resistance to shock fade under hard use. IICON’s exclusive Compression Damping Electronic Valves are included for actively dialing in your suspension performance. Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an electronically controlled valve that meters the flow of oil to regulate the amount of damping force that is created by the shock when compressed. This infinitely variable valve can react in less than 40 ms and has the ability to make extremely precise adjustments for varying terrain. CDEV’s hydraulic circuits are also custom tailored per application to create the highest resolution and dynamic range allowable for each specific vehicle. Powered by ICON Intelligent Control and proprietary ICON mobile app, the system uses information from the onboard G-force sensor and Gyroscope to perform calculations based on algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and adjust shock settings via the CDEV accordingly. These 3.0 Series Shocks are designed as an OEM shock replacement, making installation a simple and straightforward bolt-on affair.
