These Mr. Gasket HEADLOCK locking header bolts fit Chevy / GM / GMC engines 1997 To Up. Burning your hands on your headers or exhaust manifold when bolting on headers just became a thing of the past. HeadLock Header Bolts simplify header installation with high-strength 2-in-1 self-locking bolts that eliminate the need for lock washers. Designed for the performance engine builder, these innovative, patent-pending fasteners have 24 equally spaced serrations in the face of the hex head that grab and lock on to the manifold surface, virtually eliminating the chance that one might back out from vibration or because of the varying expansion rates of different metals. HeadLock Header Bolts are available for numerous domestic applications, including Chevrolet, Chrysler, Ford, AMC, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac. They’re manufactured from stainless steel, designed to withstand tensile strengths of 150,000 Pounds Per Square Inch, and come with a bright polish finish.
